Denver International Airport’s Most Otherworldly Flights Begin to Roswell, NM

Because Not Everything at DEN Is Underground

DENVER - Feb. 17, 2026 - Permission to land, granted. Denver International Airport (DEN) today celebrated the inaugural flight of United Airlines' new nonstop service to Roswell Air Center (ROW), operated by SkyWest. The flights operate twice daily and depart Denver at 8:15 a.m. and 3:20 p.m. for 1-hour, 41-minute journeys to the UFO Capital of the World.

Earthling passengers aboard the flights received greetings, celebratory certificates and alien plushies to commemorate the occasion. Roswell Mayor Tim Z. Jennings, along with City Council members Juliana Halvorson and Kurt Gass, airport employees and members of the Roswell Air Center Airport Advisory Council were aboard the inaugural flight.

"Today's inaugural flight to Roswell from DEN is a great reminder that air service is about connecting people to places that inspire curiosity and create unforgettable memories," DEN CEO Phil Washington said. "Adding unique destinations like Roswell helps support DEN's key role as a gateway to the West and beyond."

Roswell becomes the fifth destination in the Land of Enchantment served nonstop by United from DEN. Demand for travel - including extraterrestrial voyages - between Denver and southeast New Mexico has grown by 30 percent over the past year. Denver-Roswell flights are scheduled to operate year-round.
