75+ Coast-To-Coast U.S. Tour Dates With Alison Krauss & Union Station Kicks Off Next Friday

April 17, 2026 - Theo Lawrence celebrates a milestone week with "I've Got A Mind For Loving You," a cascading new original where the heart looks past all imperfections. Culling together "vibraphone, Spanish guitars and a song of unconditional love," as Lawrence describes it, the track arrives just after his national television debut onCBS Saturday Morning, which took place this past weekend. Lawrence kicked off that broadcast with "Lonely Too Long" - a song he released earlier this spring - which will join "I've Got A Mind For Loving You" on his debut full-length project for Warner Records / Reprise Records later in 2026. But before that, he'll keep excitement rolling next week with the first of more than 75 tour dates he's playing this year alongside Alison Krauss & Union Station.

"A song for when the one you love can do no wrong in your eyes," reflects Lawrence of the inspiration behind "I've Got A Mind For Lovin' You." "The recording came into form in a small circle, the band playing softly all gathered around the microphones in the most instantaneous way." Those musicians joining him on the track include longtime collaborator and co-producer Thibault Ripault on nylon string guitar, Billy Horton (Charley Crockett, Nick Waterhouse) on bass, Joe Roddy (The Point) on organ and engineer Alex Hall (JD McPherson, Nick Lowe) providing drums and vibraphone.

Paris-born and Texas-based, Theo Lawrence channels each of his homes with timeless style and soul across his musical output. While growing up in France - at odds with anything surrounding him at the time - Lawrence fell in love with the songs of classic American artists like Charlie Rich, Burt Bacharach, Carole King, Dan Penn and Lee Hazlewood. This unique blend of rich influences - and his upbringing an ocean away - result in a truly singular sound, ushering in a new era of French Riviera flourish at the American motorlodge pool.
