TCEQ approves fines totaling $2,172,074
The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality today approved penalties totaling $1,995,426 against 55 regulated entities for violations of state environmental regulations.
Agreed orders were issued for the following enforcement categories: 18 air quality, one Edwards Aquifer, three multi-media, 18 municipal wastewater discharges, three petroleum storage tanks, five public water systems, and seven water quality.
In addition, on Oct. 20, the executive director approved penalties totaling $176,648 against 38 entities.
