Minister Konaković met with Minister of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Trade and Industry of the Republic of Singapore, Gan Siow Huang

On April 17, 2026, Elmedin Konaković, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, met with Gan Siow Huang, the Minister of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Trade and Industry of the Republic of Singapore, in Antalya.

Both parties reaffirmed the strong and friendly relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Singapore, noting that there are currently no open issues between the two countries. They agreed on the importance of continuing to strengthen cooperation through high-level visits, enhancing political dialogue, and opening new opportunities for joint projects.

Minister Konaković praised Singapore's economic achievements and its status as a global financial and innovation center. He invited Singaporean investors and business leaders to visit Bosnia and Herzegovina to explore potential fields for collaboration. The importance of developing economic ties was emphasized, with the assessment of significant untapped potential, particularly in the industry, trade, education, science, culture, and sports fields.

Minister Konaković also briefed his counterpart on the current political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the ongoing reform processes, and the country's progress towards European integration, which he highlighted as a strategic goal.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties expressed their commitment to continuing an intensive dialogue and to formalizing projects that would be mutually beneficial, thereby further strengthening the friendly relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Singapore.
