FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - High Class IRecall
Holland Vermont, June 10, 2026 Dairy Air Farm Est. M18VT Recalls Smoked Pork Products Due to Lack of Inspection Verification
Dairy Air Farm, in cooperation with the Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food & Markets, is recalling smoked pork products produced on February 6, 2026.
The products subject to recall are 4 hams and 4 slabs of bacon, totaling 102 pounds. The products bear a Vermont mark of inspection with the establishment number M18VT. The labels do not contain an ingredient statement nor do they declare a best-by date. The affected products were shipped to a retail location in Brownington, VT.
Food produced without inspection may contain undeclared allergens, harmful bacteria, or other contaminants that put consumer health and safety at risk. The problem was discovered during routine VAAFM retail surveillance activities. Because the products cannot be verified as having been produced under inspection, they were not eligible to bear the official mark of inspection.
There have been no confirmed reports of illness due to consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about a reaction should contact a healthcare provider.
VAAFM is concerned that some product may be in consumer's freezers. Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.
The Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food & Markets is continuing its investigation to determine the amount of product involved and distribution information.
Consumers with questions may contact Dairy Air Farm at 802-734-8198.
