Public Notice: Proposed Lease

ADL 213145

Pursuant to AS 38.05.945

(USGS Quad Map Lime Hills B-3)

Pursuant to AS 38.05.070(c-d) the Southcentral Regional Land Office (SCRO) has made a Preliminary Decision to amend a 55-year lease to Northward Bound LLC to expand an existing commercial recreation guide site from approximately 9 acres to 15 acres, located along the Stony River near Tired Pup Creek, Alaska. The site is located within Section 29 of Township 14 North, Range 25 West, Seward Meridian.

The public is invited to review and comment on this Preliminary Decision. A copy of the Preliminary Decision can be found at https://aws.state.ak.us/OnlinePublicNotices/default.aspx. Questions concerning how to comment should be directed to Bren McIver at (907) 269-8479 or by e-mail at [email protected], or by fax to (907) 269-8913. Individuals with audio impairments who wish to respond to this Preliminary Decision by telephone may call Relay Alaska at 711 or (800) 770-8973 for assistance at no cost.

All comments must be received in writing at the above listed mailing address or e-mail on or before 11:59 PM on March 25, 2026. To be eligible to appeal DNR's Final Decision, under AS 38.05.035(i)-(m), a person must have submitted written comments during this comment period.
