Nominations for honorary degrees being accepted

Nominations are being accepted for Marquette University's honorary degrees, which are awarded each year to individuals recognized for their exceptional achievements and included in the university's graduating class.

President Kimo Ah Yun invites the campus community to submit nominations online.

The Committee on University Honors considers nominees in three categories:

  • High-profile individuals who could serve as the Commencement speaker or at another major university event.
  • Individuals who have distinguished themselves as academics or intellectuals.
  • Individuals who have demonstrated excellence in public or community service to Marquette, the Milwaukee community or society at large.

More information is available on the University Honors website.
