Now Open: Heat Pump Group Buying Program with Switch Together

Save thousands, lower your utility bills, and protect the environment with a new program for residents. The City of Alexandria has partnered with nonprofit Solar United Neighbors to offer Switch Together, a group buying program for heat pumps. The program runs through May 27.

Why Heat Pumps?

Heat pumps can be up to three times more efficient than traditional furnaces; the average home that switches to a heat pump can save $370 per year, and homes that switch from electric resistance systems can save closer to $1,000 per year!

The Switch Together program provides even more savings by securing a group discount through a competitive auction process. Get up to a 15% discount compared to the typical market price for a standard heat pump installation, which translates to savings of $2,900.

Beyond savings, switching to an electric heat pump is also good for your health and the planet. Natural gas systems carry a risk of gas or carbon monoxide leaks and have been linked to asthma. Plus, switching to a heat pump can reduce your carbon footprint by about 5 metric tons annually (about the same as driving a car for a year)!

Join Today!

Register with Switch Togethertoday to receive a free, customized heat pump offer from a qualified contractor! Registration is at no cost and there's no obligation to proceed with a heat pump installation.

Find out what you can save by visiting SwitchTogether.com/HeatPumps/Alexandria by Wednesday, May 27.
