Housing and Apartment Fair to Bring Rental and Housing Resources to the St. Pete Community

Feb. 27, 2026 - The City of St. Petersburg and the Bay Area Apartment Association are inviting residents to attend the Housing and Apartment Fair on Wednesday, March 4, from 5-7 p.m. at the Enoch D. Davis Center (1111 18th Ave. S). This free community event brings rental housing providers and City housing programs together in one facility, making it easier for residents to access safe, affordable housing opportunities.

"This event is about access," said Avery Slyker, the City's Director of Housing and Community Development. "Whether you are looking for an apartment or seeking assistance to repair your home, we are bringing resources directly to residents in one convenient location."

For renters

Representatives from rental apartments from across the Tampa Bay area will be on-site to connect directly with prospective tenants.

Attendees can:

  • Explore currently available rental units

  • Learn about pricing and eligibility requirements

  • Speak one-on-one with property representatives

  • Discover housing options that fit all budgets

For homeowners

City housing staff will be on site to provide personalized, one-on-one guidance on available grants and loan programs, including:

  • Lead paint testing and remediation assistance

  • Rapid Roof Replacement Program

  • Owner-occupied housing rehabilitation

  • Exterior façade improvement programs

Homeowners can receive help understanding eligibility requirements and application steps, making it easier to access funding that improves safety, health and property value.

The Housing and Apartment Fair supports the City's ongoing commitment to expanding housing access, improving neighborhood conditions and promoting healthy homes throughout St. Petersburg.

Residents are encouraged to attend and bring any relevant documentation that may assist staff in answering program-specific questions.
