Five Indiana Life Science Startups Selected for IU Health Incubator at IU LAB Pre-Accelerator powered by gener8tor

The seven-week, non-dilutive gBETA program prepares early-stage founders across biosciences, human health, and biotechnology to gain customer traction and connect with investors.

Indianapolis, IN. - Three Indiana University-affiliated companies (Resolet, NeuroCoolX, Vicentrix) and two other Indiana-based startups have been selected to participate in the Summer 2026 cohort of the IU Health Incubator at IU LAB Pre-Accelerator powered by gener8tor. Based in Indianapolis at 16 Tech Innovation District, the national accelerator program supports early-stage founders commercializing breakthrough technologies at the intersection of biosciences, human health, and biotechnology.The five startups-Resolet, NeuroCoolX, Vicentrix, ResperCare, and VitaWave-will join the third cohort, supported by a partnership between Indiana University Launch Accelerator for Biosciences (IU LAB), Indiana University Health, and global venture capital firm gener8tor.

A program of gener8tor's gBETA accelerator, the IU Health Incubator at IU LAB Pre-Accelerator is a non-equity, non-dilutive, free-to-founders program designed to help early-stage companies meet mentors, gain customer traction and pursue investment opportunities. Startup founders receive intensive concierge coaching over a seven-week span, and access to gener8tor's national network of mentors, customers, corporate partners and investors.

The five selected companies were chosen out of more than 40 applicants due to their growth potential and investor readiness (see below for additional details on each company).

IU Health Incubator at IU LAB Pre-Accelerator Summer 2026 Cohort

Resolet Inc. is developing a compact, automated therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) platform that measures drug concentrations from a small blood sample at or near the point of care. By combining low-field magnetic resonance relaxometry, drug-specific magnetic nanoparticle assays and software-guided analysis, Resolet is designed to provide quantitative results during the same care encounter so clinicians can individualize dosing of narrow-therapeutic-index medicines. The initial clinical application is tacrolimus monitoring for transplant patients in emergency and acute-care settings. Resolet has built a working benchtop prototype and received a $305,000 National Science Foundation SBIR Phase I award to advance the core sensing platform toward a clinically deployable system.
