Rock Valley College continuously evaluates programs, degrees, and certificates to ensure that offerings are relevant and lead to employment or transfer.
Program Sunsets and Student Advising Updates
Because of that, the college will add new programs and/or discontinue others. Below are some degrees and certificates that will no longer be offered at the college as well as some options to take in their place.

These alternatives reflect the input of the program's Advisory Committee and support student readiness for the job market, including our AAS in Cybersecurity, designated as a Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (CAE-CD) by the NSA and DHS.
