LINCOLN, NEBRASKA - Today, U.S. Congressman Mike Flood issued a statement ahead of Veterans Day, which will be observed on November 11, 2025.
"From the shores of Omaha Beach to the jungles of Vietnam, Nebraskans have served to protect and defend our country and the cause of liberty around the world for generations. As we honor the heroes who have worn our nation's uniform, Veterans Day is an opportunity to express our personal appreciation for everyone who has served in the U.S. Armed Forces. This year as we approach this day, I introduced a series of bills to support our veterans and honor unsung military heroes. Even small steps help to build a brighter future for our veterans as they live out the American Dream after their time in active duty. Thank you to everyone across Nebraska who works to support our veterans. Together, we'll keep making the Good Life an even better place for our service members to live, work, and raise their families."
Congressman Flood introduced legislation supporting America's veterans and recently joined a resolution urging Americans to observe Veterans Day.
