VISIT CHICAGO SOUTHLAND WELCOMES NEW SPORTS MARKET MANAGER NATHAN ANNIS

Visit Chicago Southland welcomes Nathan Annis their new Sports Market Manager.

"We are very excited to welcome Nathan to our team at Visit Chicago Southland," said Visit Chicago Southland President/CEO Mary Patchin. "His hospitality and tourism experience makes him an integral asset to our sales team."

Annis, a Rockford, Illinois native, recently moved to the Chicago Southland region. He comes from St. Louis, Missouri, where he worked for area travel organizations including AAA, Gateway Arch National Park, Sunrise Bus Tours, Hyatt Regency Downtown St. Louis, and the St. Louis Convention & Visitors Bureau.

"I am motivated in helping Visit Chicago Southland grow further," said Annis. "This will be a great opportunity for me to connect with area sports leaders and promote the valuable sports facilities in our region."

Annis succeeds Kristy Campbell who retired in April.

Annis, in the role of Sports Market Manager, will focus on attracting new sports organizers, primarily through industry trade shows and targeted sales initiatives, to host events at Chicago Southland sports facilities, while also sustaining strong relationships with existing clients who already hold events in the region.

Visit Chicago Southland is the official destination management and marketing organization for Chicago's south and southwest suburbs.
