Major Construction Work to Begin on Florence Admin Campus in January, Impacting Parking

This exciting five-storey, 125,000 sq. ft. building will house the Assessor, Recorder, and Treasurer's Offices, as well as staff from Human Resources, the Office of Budget & Finance, and Economic & Workforce Development. The new energy-efficient facility will be much more in line with expectations for a modern office facility and will offer superior facilities for both customers and employees.

Construction of the building is expected to take two years, and during this period, there will be disruptions on the campus, predominantly related to noise and significantly reduced parking.

Referring to the map below, customers visiting Building E (Assessor, Recorder, Treasurer) or the Development Services Building are advised to park in the blue-shaded lot north of the Development Services Building, accessible from N. Park St. The green line indicates the walkway to the two buildings.

Several ADA parking spaces are available south of the Development Services building, accessible from N. Park St.

Visitors to the 1891 Courthouse (where Board of Supervisors Meetings are held) or to the Emergency Operations Center (where other meetings are typically held) are advised to park in the general parking lots marked in pink. These lots are for both customers and County employees.

In addition to on-campus parking areas, the Town of Florence permits on-street parking. There are also three Town of Florence parking lots within a short walking distance of the campus (see map below).
