Seth Engeman Selected a Missouri Youth Pork Ambassador

Montrose Youth to Participate in 2026 Scholarship Program

Osage Beach, Mo.,-The Missouri Pork Association (MPA) is pleased to announce the selection of Seth Engeman from Montrose as a 2026 Missouri Youth Pork Ambassador. His selection was announced today at the Missouri Pork Expo in Osage Beach.

Seth is the son of John and Donna Engeman. He is a senior at Montrose R-IVX High School and will graduate in May of 2026. After graduation, he plans to attend the University of Missouri in Columbia to pursue a degree in agribusiness management and personal financial planning. Down the road, he hopes to pursue a political career in local and state government.

Seth works on his family's 5th generation farm, TJ & CE Farms, helping oversee the care of 14,000 nursery pigs and over 120 head of cattle. He recently started an internship as administrative office associate at H&E West Missouri Veterinary Clinic in Appleton City. He is also involved with the Montrose Junior Firefighters, currently as the junior chief.

He has been a member of the Montrose FFA Chapter since 2022. Seth served as president from 2024-2025 while at the same time holding the office of president for Area VII. He is currently Missouri FFA State 1st Vice President. He is also president of the Montrose Future Business Leaders of America, National Honor Society president, Senior Class vice president, Student Council president, and Henry County 4-H Council president. Seth is also in the inaugural class of Senator Eric Schmitt's Youth Council.

During the next year, Seth will attend events such as the Annual Golf Tournament and Missouri State Fair. At the end of the program, he will receive a $1,000 scholarship payable to a technical school, community college or four-year university.

The Missouri Youth Pork Ambassador program combines a scholarship opportunity with the chance to actively participate in Missouri's pork industry. It provides an opportunity for youth to develop strong relationships with both pork producers and allied industry members, while improving communication and leadership skills.

The Missouri Pork Association represents the state's pork producers in the areas of promotion, research, education, and public policy.
