16@95 Improvement Projects Traffic Impact Report

POTENTIAL TRAFFIC IMPACTS RELATED TO CONSTRUCTION
OF 16@95 IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS
Weather permitting, Georgia Department of Transportation (Georgia DOT) construction partners will close interstate lanes and ramps at the locations below for the 16@95 Improvement Projects, which will widen I-16 and reconstruct the I-16/I-95 Interchange. The lane closures are necessary for widening activities for I-16, bridge work on I-95, and bridge work at the I-16/I-516 Interchange. Nighttime Closures

Sunday, October 4, through Saturday, October 10, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Intermittent right lane closure at the following locations
  • I-95 northbound at MM 99
Advisory: Exact time may change due to weather conditions. There may be intermittent traffic pacing and lane and ramp closures that occur within the work zone in addition to this notice. Motorists are advised to expect delays, exercise caution, reduce their speed while traveling through work zones, stay alert, and watch for workers.
