The Boston Globe Names FM One of New England’s Fastest-Growing Companies

JOHNSTON, R.I., USA, March 18, 2026 - Commercial property insurer FM today announced that The Boston Globe has named it one of New England's Fastest-Growing Companies of 2026.

The Boston Globe's list, produced in partnership with Statista, is the "definitive ranking of the region's most successful, innovative and high-growth businesses," showcasing companies "that are setting the pace for New England's economy."

The honor comes amid FM's expansion in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. FM recently announced the purchase of 10 Memorial Boulevard, a 10-story premier commercial office building in downtown Providence that will serve as a strategic addition to its growing business and global office footprint. FM also recently leased space in Boston's South Station Tower, and the company will soon realize its significant investment in the FM Science and Technology Center, Americas, in Norwood, Massachusetts. The 320,000-square-foot state-of-the-art research and training facility will open in mid-2026 and is designed to replicate real-world property hazards, develop and test solutions to protect buildings, and engage clients and partners.
