Dentons advises NET4GAS on CZK 4 billion refinancing facility

Global law firm Dentons has advised NET4GAS, s.r.o. ("NET4GAS"), the exclusive gas transmission system operator in the Czech Republic, on a CZK 4 billion (approximately EUR 159 million) refinancing loan provided by a consortium of leading Czech banks.

The banking club - comprising Komerční banka, a.s. (also acting as coordinator and agent), Česká spořitelna, a.s., UniCredit Bank Czech Republic and Slovakia, a.s., and Všeobecná úverová banka a.s., pobočka Praha - agreed to provide a term loan facility for refinancing of existing indebtedness and to further strengthen NET4GAS's capital structure.

NET4GAS operates more than 4,000 kilometers of pipelines and plays a vital role in the integration of European energy markets. As the sole gas transmission system operator in the Czech Republic, it ensures secure and efficient natural gas transmission both domestically and internationally.

NET4GAS was also advised on the financial aspects of the transaction by EY, with a team comprising David Zlámal, Jan Pilmaier, David Chudomský and Ivana Gallová.
