Pennsylvania Democrats Ana Tiburcio and Jennifer Mazzocco Win Pennsylvania House Special Elections, Defending Democrats’ PA House Majority Arrow

Tonight, Democratic candidates Ana Tiburcio and Jennifer Mazzocco clinched victory in Pennsylvania House special elections, defending Democrats' slim majority in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. With Tiburcio and Mazzocco's victories, Democrats have now overperformed or won in 250 out of 280 key elections since Donald Trump took office.

Tiburcio and Mazzocco's victories reflect a growing number of Pennsylvania voters who are souring on Donald Trump and Republicans' failed agenda that is raising the cost of everyday essentials like groceries, spiking health care costs for 421,996 Pennsylvanians, and threatening five rural hospitals that Pennsylvanians rely on for lifesaving health services. Voters demand a change, which is why they are putting their faith in Democratic leaders like Tiburcio and Mazzocco, who will fight to lower costs and protect health care.

In response to Tiburcio and Mazzocco's victories, DNC Chair Ken Martin released the following statement:

"Donald Trump and Republicans' out-of-touch, billionaires-first agenda leaves working families worse off than ever before - and Pennsylvanians have had enough. Tonight, Pennsylvanians once again put their faith in strong Democratic leaders like Ana Tiburcio and Jennifer Mazzocco, who are fighting to lower costs, protect health care, and build a brighter future for every family. Their victories tonight are another warning sign to Republicans that their toxic agenda has no place in Pennsylvania. Democrats have the momentum as we continue to win elections up and down the ballot and expand our power across the Commonwealth and nation."
