BOSTON - June 3, 2026 - Andrew (A.J.) Tibbetts, an Intellectual Property & Technology Practice shareholder in global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP's Boston office, presented "Practical Tips on Building and Deploying AI in MedTech" at the MedTech AI Summit May 26 in Boston. Greenberg Traurig was a sponsor of the summit, which was held as part of a16z Tech Week and brought together leaders from across the New England medical technology ecosystem.
Tibbetts joined industry leaders from organizations such as NVIDIA and Oura for a practical discussion on the real-world application of artificial intelligence in medtech, exploring where, when, and how the technology can be effectively implemented in medical settings.
The program featured insights from leaders who have built, cleared, and commercialized AI-enabled medical technologies, with discussion focused on strategy, governance, internal planning, execution, and anticipated challenges.
Tibbetts leverages prior experience as a software engineer to provide business-oriented intellectual property strategies for software, AI, and electronics-based technologies. He counsels on matters related to software-implemented technologies across a range of industries, from networking, fintech, and natural language processing to life sciences, AI, medical records, and medical devices. Tibbetts advises a wide array of clients, ranging from international and publicly traded companies and large research institutions to small and growing firms. He serves on the board of directors of MassMEDIC and HealthTech Build, supporting digital health efforts in the New England area.
