Let's go to the Stock Exchange webinar

The Ljubljana Stock Exchange once again joined the traditional World Money Week movement, organised annually by the OECD. On Wednesday, 18 March 2026 at 9:00 a.m., the traditional educational webinar "Let's Go to the Stock Exchange" was held for high school and university students and anyone who wants to improve their financial knowledge. The aim of the event was to promote financial literacy and raise awareness of the importance of responsible behaviour and effective money management for a financially secure future. The event was held via the Zoom online platform.

Global Money Week is a global campaign to raise awareness about the importance of financial literacy from early childhood and the gradual acquisition of knowledge, skills, relationships, and behaviours necessary for making correct financial decisions and achieving a financially secure future. This year's campaign theme, "Smart money talks" highlights the importance of empowering young people with strong financial literacy skills. It's essential for them to recognize emotional triggers, evaluate information critically, and make informed decisions. By strengthening their understanding of money management, young people can more effectively navigate financial markets, resist impulsive spending, and identify biased advice - paving the way for smarter, more confident financial choices.

The event was successful, with over 300 participants including students, teachers, professors, and other interested individuals from various educational institutions.
