Senior Center to host Medical Take Back event on May 2

Join University of Iowa College of Pharmacy students for a free Medication Take Back! The event takes place from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, May 2, 2026, in Room 302 at the Iowa City Senior Center (ICSC).

Residents can safely dispose of unwanted or expired medications and get guidance from College of Pharmacy students about their medication-related questions. Participants can also create personalized medication cards and receive free medication management supplies, including pill cutters, pillboxes, travel medication packs, stickers, pens, and more.

Room 302 is on the third floor of the ICSC, which is directly off the skywalk between the building and Clock Tower Parking Ramp.
