City selects Stefanie Boster as City Attorney and Chief Legal Officer

The City of Colorado Springs today announced that Stefanie Boster has been selected as the City Attorney and Chief Legal Officer following a national search process. Her appointment is pending City Council confirmation.

Boster currently serves as Deputy City Attorney for the City of Fort Collins and previously served as City Attorney for the City of Cheyenne, Wyoming. She brings extensive experience advising municipal leadership, managing legal teams, and supporting complex issues related to utilities, land use, and governance.

"Stefanie brings a powerful combination of litigation experience, public service, and deep municipal legal expertise," said Mayor Yemi Mobolade. "As a former local elected official, she understands the responsibility of this role and the importance of timely, sound legal guidance. She is proactive, responsive, and solutions-oriented; qualities that will help our city navigate complexity and deliver results. I am confident she will lead with integrity, professionalism, and a strong commitment to serving the people of Colorado Springs."

The City Attorney's Office provides legal counsel to the Mayor, City Council, Colorado Springs Utilities and all City enterprises, and City departments, supporting the delivery of services to the Colorado Springs community.
