In continuation to Exchange circular number 20251027-48 dated 27 October 2025 related to Introduction of Pre-Open Session Indicator in Contract Master File, Trading members of the Exchange are requested to note that it is proposed to make certain changes in the contract master file of Equity Derivatives segment as detailed below.
Introduction of Identifier for reserved contract in contract master - <_o3a_p>
Exchange shall create additional reserved contract (strikes) which shall be provided in end of day contract master file. Kindly refer following contract master files for reserved contract identifier. Modalities related to reserved contract activation shall be published via separate circular.<_o3a_p>

Please note that there shall be no change in the file structure. Existing filler field available in the contract master file has been used for providing above information. Kindly refer enclosed Annexure for contract master file format & sample file. The changes in the file format have been highlighted. <_o3a_p>
Trading members and front-end trading application vendors are requested to take note of the same and make necessary changes in their trading application, as appropriate.<_o3a_p>
Above enhancement shall be made available in the contract master files with effect from end of day Friday, December 05, 2025 (applicable trading date Monday, December 08, 2025) along with changes mentioned in circular number 20251027-48 dated 27 October 2025.<_o3a_p>
