CONCERT UPDATE: LOCASH to Perform at The Great New York State Fair on Monday, Replacing Dionne Warwick

The Great New York State Fair is excited to welcome country duo LOCASH to Chevy Court tomorrow. The popular country act will take the stage at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, September 1, replacing legendary singer Dionne Warwick, who had to cancel her appearance due to unforeseen circumstances.

Platinum-selling duo LOCASH, consisting of members Chris Lucas and Preston Brust, has been making waves in the country music scene with their energetic performances and chart-topping hits such as "Hometown Home," "I Love This Life," and "One Big Country Song." Since forming in 2015, the duo has gained a dedicated fanbase and critical acclaim for their authentic sound and engaging stage presence.

The Fair's decision to bring LOCASH to Chevy Court aligns with this year's celebration of diverse musical genres and the power of live performance. Their lively set promises to deliver an unforgettable experience for fairgoers, with their signature blend of country, pop, and rock influences.

"We're thrilled to have LOCASH join our lineup and bring their dynamic sound to Chevy Court," said Fair Director Julie LaFave. "We're confident that LOCASH will deliver a fantastic performance that our visitors will enjoy. Their music is uplifting and fun, making it a perfect addition to our Fair experience." LaFave added, "We wish Dionne Warwick well, and look forward to future opportunities to see her perform."

The Fair runs through Labor Day, Monday, September 1. All concerts are included in the price of admission. Tickets are on sale now at The Fair's website, nysfair.ny.gov. Packed with value, a single admission ticket costs $8 and includes access to all grounds entertainment and the Chevrolet Music Series. In addition, a Frequent Fairgoer ticket option is available for $25. The Fair continues to be one of the most affordable fairs in the nation, with admission remaining free for those aged 65 and older along with children 12 years old and under.

Founded in 1841, The Great New York State Fair showcases the best of New York agriculture, provides top-quality entertainment, and is a key piece of the state's CNY Rising strategy of growing the Central New York economy through tourism. It is the oldest fair in the United States and is consistently recognized as being among the top five state fairs in the nation.
