Portland, OR - Today, as Donald Trump continues to completely mishandle reparations for the illegal and reckless war in Iran, the average price of gas has spiked to $5.35 in Oregon - up $0.20 from just last week.
Since the start of Trump's war in Iran, gas prices in Oregon have risen over 36%. Trump officials have since admitted that gas prices may not come back down to pre-war levels until 2027 - and the Republicans running for governor have nothing good to say about it.

Amid the historically unpopular war, Trump is deeply underwater on the economy - with two-thirds of Americans saying the country is going in the wrong direction. As the Republicans running for governor duke it out in the last two weeks of the primary, none of them are speaking up or speaking out about these reckless policies that are harming Oregonian's pockets.
"Trump is bleeding Oregon families dry - a reckless war driving up costs, gutted SNAP benefits, slashed Medicaid, and unnecessary tariffs. And where are the Republicans running for governor? Nowhere, silent," said Federico Araujo, DPO Communications Advisor. "In the final two weeks of the primary, not one of them has lifted a finger to push back against their party's reckless policies that are crushing people's pocketbooks. Oregonians deserve a governor who will put families first - not someone who is a rubber stamp to Donald Trump's economic policies that put Oregonians last."
