Austin Asphalt Hosts Fundamentals Training

FLOWER MOUND, TX - Austin Asphalt, in partnership with the Texas Asphalt Pavement Association (TXAPA), hosted an open industry training event on January 28-29 at Circle R Ranch in Flower Mound, Texas. The two-day program welcomed a diverse group of attendees, including current and prospective customers from TxDOT districts, municipal agencies, and commercial companies.

The program focused on core best practices, delivered by leading industry experts, to help agencies and companies achieve the highest-quality paving operations possible. Topics covered included safety, ordering mix and leveling operations, mix types, tack/bond, paver operations, joints, and compaction/densities.
