SMART Online Banking Debuts in One Week
Here is some additional information for you as we get ready to roll out a new online dashboard and mobile app on September 29. Our goal is to keep you updated so you feel confident about what is coming.
All Customers: What You Need to Know Today

View-Only Mode: From 5:00 pm, Friday, September 26, through approximately 10:00 am of Monday, September 29, Online Banking and our mobile app will be in view-only mode, and at times experience limited or no availability.

§ Bill Pay Availability: Beginning at 8:00 pm, Thursday, September 25, the bill pay feature will not be available until the new dashboard is available on Monday. The payee information you had provided previously will be migrated over to the new dashboard. Of course, we encourage you to double check your payee information when processing your first payment on the new dashboard.

What You Can Still Do: You can check your balances, use your debit card, write checks, and visit any Farmers Bank location for in-person service.

What You Cannot Do: Transfers between accounts, pay bills or make changes to your account, these will be temporarily unavailable during this time.

What Happens Next: At approximately 10:00 am on Monday, September 29, you will receive instructions from us on how to log in to SMART Online Banking and download our new mobile app. (The current app will no longer be available.)
Business: What You Need to Know Today

e-Statements: During the migration, if you anticipate needing past e-statements, we recommend downloading and saving them today so that you have them readily available. Downloading old e-statements may be delayed in appearing on the new system. Your September e-statement is expected to be available on time after the upgrade is complete.

Account Alerts & Notifications: if you or someone on your team receives balance or transaction alerts, when you gain access to the new system please confirm that your balance notification preferences are set up correctly in the new dashboard.
Stay Alert: Protect Your Account from Fraud During this Transition
As we launch SMART Online Banking, your security remains our top priority. During times of change, cybercriminals often take advantage of increased email and online activity to send fraudulent messages or create fake websites. Please take a moment to review these tips to help keep your account safe during our transition to the SMART Online Banking dashboard.

Verify Before You Click - Only log in through our official website or app. Avoid clicking on links in unsolicited emails or texts. If you are not sure, you can always visit TheFarmersBank.com directly to access your account.

Watch for Urgent or Unusual Requests - be cautious of messages that pressure you to act quickly, provide account details, or send payments.

Confirm Sender Information - fraudulent emails often look convincing but may use slightly misspelled names or unusual email addresses.

Keep Your Credentials Private - The Farmers Bank will never ask you to share your username, password, or secure access word by email, phone, or text. The Farmers Bank will never ask you to provide account details over the phone without you first confirming your security word. You can always call us 765-654-8731 so that you know you are talking to the bank.

Report Suspicious Activity - If you receive a questionable message or notice unauthorized transactions, contact your local Financial Center or for businesses the Treasury Management team immediately.

Enter your payment and direct deposit information into our secure ClickSWITCH® system

Submit your "switch" requests

Track progress in real time by selecting "View Switches" from your dashboard
ClickSWITCH® is fully automated, convenient, and can take as little as 10 minutes. It eliminates the need to contact each biller or employer yourself and helps ensure you do not miss a payment during your transition.
