Recognizing The Peckham Way August 2026

The SIDE Award recognizes Peckham members who demonstrate our values of Safety, Integrity, Dedication, and Efficiency. Our August 2026 recipients have shown exceptional courage, leadership, teamwork, and commitment to The Peckham Way.

Bill Granger and Jason Sprague

While performing pavement maintenance on NYSDOT Project D265716 in Ticonderoga, New York, Bill Granger and Jason Sprague witnessed a serious traffic accident that left a driver trapped inside a burning vehicle.

Without hesitation, Bill and Jason ran toward the scene and repeatedly used fire extinguishers to battle the flames while helping protect the trapped driver. They remained on scene until emergency responders could safely extricate her and transport her to the hospital.

The local Fire Chief commended Bill and Jason for their courageous actions and the crew's professionalism in maintaining traffic control throughout the incident. Their quick thinking, selflessness, and commitment to safety exemplify Peckham by your SIDE.

Steve Boisseau

Steve Boisseau is someone his teammates know they can always count on. Whether helping troubleshoot an issue, supporting customers, filling a need, or sharing his knowledge of quarry operations and materials, Steve approaches every challenge with confidence, patience, and a positive attitude.

His leadership was especially evident during the PI 100 Celebration at the Westfield Quarry, where he helped create a safe, welcoming, and family-oriented experience. Steve's willingness to share his knowledge, support his teammates, and proudly represent Peckham in the community demonstrates his commitment to the company and its people.

Steve's dedication, leadership, and genuine care for others make him a true example of Family by Choice.

Fred Regadas

Fred Regadas consistently demonstrates what it means to be a true team player. Whether working as a laborer, operating equipment, or helping solve a problem, Fred approaches every task with dedication, professionalism, and pride.

Customers, contractors, and project partners know that when Fred is on the job, it is in good hands. He is always ready to step into whatever role is needed, support his teammates, and take initiative to get the job done right.

Fred's integrity, efficiency, and willingness to help others have earned him the respect of those around him and make him a deserving SIDE Award recipient.
