Best Pickleball Courts in the North Bay - Finley Community Park

The City of Santa Rosa's pickleball courts at Finley Community Park, located at 2060 W. College Ave., have been ranked number one in the North Bay by the Bohemian Magazine's Best of North Bay '25 readers poll. We are thrilled to be selected for this award, most especially because it comes from you - our community! Pickleball is an extremely popular sport in Santa Rosa, as it is all across the country where it has experienced explosive growth. Community members from a wide range of ages, from retirees to younger players enjoy the sport, and its social nature fosters a strong sense of community, providing opportunities for interaction and exercise. Santa Rosa's sports courts are provided for the community to enjoy; we appreciate your involvement and want thank everyone who voted for the Finley courts, ranking them #1!

Tennis and Pickleball Court Renovations Coming to Howarth and Galvin Parks

Get ready for upgraded play! Renovations to the tennis and pickleball courts at Howarth and Galvin Parks are anticipated to begin this summer, bringing enhanced quality and improved playing conditions to these well-used community courts.

At Galvin Community Park, all courts will be renovated, including the planned addition of two brand-new tennis courts. Once complete, the park will feature t10en dedicated tennis courts and twelve12 dedicated pickleball courts. Meanwhile, at Howarth Memorial Park, all the courts will also be fully renovated, with the final layout featuring four dedicated tennis courts and six dedicated pickleball courts.

During construction, some courts will be temporarily closed, but all unaffected courts will remain open for public use as practical. To view the planned court layouts, visit SRCity.org/SportCourtRenovations.

We appreciate your patience as we make these improvements and can't wait to welcome you back to upgraded courts soon! Stay tuned for updates and construction schedules as the project progresses.
