Community Disaster Sessions

Tablelands Regional Council is hosting a series of disaster preparedness community sessions across the region.

'These sessions will provide a platform for the community to ask questions, share their concerns and contribute to improvements in disaster response and recovery,' Local Disaster Management Group Chair Mayor Rod Marti said.

'Representatives from various agencies including Ergon, SES and NBN have been invited to attend and they will be available to answer questions.

'We will provide catering and unsupervised activities for children,' said Mayor Marti.

• Malanda QCWA Hall - 5-7pm Wednesday 16 October
• Ravenshoe Town Hall - 5-7pm Tuesday 29 October
• Tinaroo Rural Fire Service shed - 5-7pm - Thursday 24 October
• Yungaburra Community Hall - 5-7pm Thursday 17 October
