Prof. Pagnotta Elected to Board of NJ League for Nursing

Giuseppina Pagnotta, DNP, MSN, NCSN, PED-BC, acting BSN program director and specialist professor in the Department of Nursing, was recently elected to the Board of Directors of the New Jersey League for Nursing (NJLN).

As a member of the board, Pagnotta will contribute to initiatives that strengthen nursing education, foster inclusive excellence, and elevate the nursing profession across New Jersey. She is especially committed to supporting collaborations that benefit nurses, educators, and the communities they serve, while celebrating the outstanding contributions of nursing professionals statewide.

"It is a privilege to serve an organization whose mission is to promote excellence in nursing education and to build a strong and diverse nursing workforce that advances the health of our state, nation, and the global community," said Pagnotta. "I am grateful for the confidence placed in me by my colleagues and the NJLN membership, and I am excited to support the League's continued work in advancing nursing education and practice."

The NJLN is a diverse and inclusive professional non-profit organization proudly celebrating 111 years in 2026. The mission of the organization is to promote excellence in nursing education to build a strong and diverse nursing workforce to advance the health of our state, nation, and the global community.

Erica Sciarra, Ph.D., DNP, APN, A-GNP-C, CNE, assistant professor in the Department of Nursing, also serves on the NJLN board of directors.
