WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Congressman Rudy Yakym (IN-02) voted to pass the Defense Appropriations Act of 2026 (H.R. 4016) out of the House of Representatives, which will support a strong national defense.
"America is home to the most lethal and capable fighting force in the world, and the Defense Appropriations Act ensures it stays that way," Rep. Yakym said. "This legislation renews peace through strength by reinforcing our military superiority, streamlining the Department of Defense for greater efficiency and effectiveness, securing our borders, supporting our service members and their families, and advancing the America First agenda."
