Victim identified from homicide investigation in the 1600 block of Lorraine Street
On December 15th, 2025, at approximately 8:53 PM, the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) responded to a call for service for an urgent assist in the 1600 block of Lorraine Street. Upon arrival, officers found an adult female deceased inside the residence. Detectives from the CSPD homicide unit responded and assumed the investigation.
On December 16, 2025, the El Paso County Coroner's Office conducted an autopsy and identified the deceased victim as 42-year-old Jessica Keller. While the Coroner's Office will determine the cause and manner of death, this is being investigated as a homicide. A photo of Ms. Keller has been provided by the family.
This was the 30th homicide in 2025 in Colorado Springs. At this time last year, there were 40 homicides.
