ANA Announces FY2025 Grant Funding Opportunities for Native Languages and Environmental Regulatory Enhancement Program Areas

The Administration for Native Americans (ANA) is pleased to announce new funding opportunities in three funding program areas. The FY25 NOFOs are Native Language Preservation and Maintenance (P&M) , Native Languages Esther Martinez Immersion (EMI) , and Environmental Regulatory Enhancement (ERE) .

"We are excited to announce the availability of critical grant funding to Native communities to support innovative projects addressing language preservation and environmental resiliency," shared ANA Commissioner Patrice H. Kunesh.

ANA anticipates funding $17 million across these programs:

  • Native Language Preservation and Maintenance: $12,000,000 for 15 new awards.
  • Esther Martinez Immersion: $3,000,000 for 4 new awards.
  • Environmental Regulatory Enhancement: $2,000,000 for 3 new awards.

Interested applicants for 2025 grant funding are invited to visit ANA's prospective grantees page . Applicants must register or renew a SAM.gov account before applying on Grants.gov .
