More Than One Million Meals: Altair Global and Move For Hunger Enter 9th Year of Partnership

Move For Hunger and its founder, Adam Lowy, have transported more than 61 million pounds of food to food banks across the United States and Canada, and have provided more than 51 million meals to those facing hunger. Since 2009, Move For Hunger has created a network of moving companies, communities, and relocation management companies across the nation to collect and donate food, all while reducing waste during moves.

In support, Altair hosts various food drives and fundraisers throughout the year, ending the year with its annual Grinch-themed food drive. Support from Altair team members, partners, and the local community helped provide more than 43,000 meals through last year's drive alone.

Some Altair team members also take the partnership a step further. Niamh Columb, Director of Client Partner Experience, took the lead as Co-Chair of Move For Hunger's Corporate Action Network (CAN) committee, supporting the organization's goals and creating a positive impact in mobility.
