Tickets on sale April 16 at Lakewood.org/SummerConcerts
April 9, 2026 [Lakewood, CO] - Wednesday nights are about to get a major upgrade as the Sounds Exciting! Summer Concert Series returns to the Bonfils-Stanton Foundation Amphitheater. Set against the historic backdrop of Heritage Lakewood Belmar Park, 801 S. Yarrow St., the 2026 season transforms the midweek slump into the ultimate outdoor retreat. Starting June 17, the community is invited to swap the daily grind for a night out at the amphitheater to enjoy a high-energy lineup ranging from soulful Southern rock to Americana folk.
Tickets go on sale April 16, offering music lovers a chance to secure their spot for a six-week run of standout performances. This year's roster includes the highly anticipated return by the legendary Hazel Miller. Whether you're looking to dance to funky blends or sing along to bluegrass favorites, the series provides the perfect summer soundtrack. Attendees can complement the music with local food truck favorites and craft pours from the Foothills Credit Union beer garden, all while watching the sun set over the foothills.

Marking 2026 milestones
A City Council proclamation for May 11 will mark the 50th anniversary of the Heritage Lakewood museum, alongside America's 250th and Colorado's 150th commemorations. Heritage Lakewood Belmar Park is a 20th-century history park, museum and festival grounds where the community is invited to recognize these milestones during events and programs throughout the year. New interpretive signage at each historic building allows visitors extended access to learn about the site. Events begin June 6 with the Rockin' Block Party, followed by Wednesday night concerts in June and July, Belmar Bash on July 3, the museum's birthday on Aug. 1, Cider Days Oct. 3-4, and Lakewood Lights on Dec. 3. It's a yearlong opportunity to reflect on our shared history and enjoy all Heritage Lakewood has to offer.
