And, of course, the city's history includes special, vivid chapters tied to the growth of gunsmithing in the Tula Region. Through the dedicated efforts and talent of skilled craftsmen, designers, and specialists, unique weapons were created here, forging the nation's defensive might.

It is gratifying that you sincerely love your hometown, cherish and preserve its rich cultural and spiritual heritage, and proudly continue the creative traditions of your ancestors. Thanks in large part to your energy and enthusiasm, Tula is becoming more beautiful every year, with new residential neighbourhoods, schools, stadiums, and museums being built, while parks, embankments, and other public spaces are being developed. Today, the city has become a true gem for visitors from various regions of Russia and from abroad."
