The Cadillac Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing at its regularly scheduled meeting of Tuesday, May 27, 2025, for the receipt of comment on a special land use permit application filed by Troy Baxter to allow for the property at 822 S Carmel St (former property of the Wexford County Jail) to be used as a church. The property is zoned OS-1, Office Service District.

The meeting at which the hearing will be conducted begins at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Cadillac Administrative Offices, 200 N. Lake Street, Cadillac, MI 49601. A copy of the application including a map of the area described above may be inspected at the above address during regular business hours. Written comments must be received at the Cadillac Administrative Offices no later than 5:00 P.M. of the public hearing date to be included in the public hearing record.
