The City of Fort Worth is seeking community feedback on an $840 million bond package in 2026 that includes propositions funding capital projects in Fort Worth neighborhoods and business districts. A series of community meetings to provide detailed information and gather feedback from residents begins this month.
The size of the bond package is structured to work within the existing city property tax rate. If approved, the bonds are planned to be fully repaid without increasing the city property tax rate.

Learn about projects for the proposed 2026 bond program during an upcoming public meeting series. Town hall-style meetings will be held in every city council district and streamed live. In addition to learning about the proposed bond program, residents will hear about the 2050 Comprehensive Plan, Moving A Million Master Transportation Plan, Stormwater Strategic Plan ,the Aquatics Master Plan and long-range street maintenance funding strategies.
