On behalf of the Government and the people of the Republic of Lithuania, Prime Minister Inga Ruginienė has extended sincere greetings to Croatia on the occasion of Statehood Day.
"l am confident that the friendship between Lithuania and Croatia, strengthened by our shared principles and growing cooperation, will continue to deepen for the benefit of our countries and Europe as a whole.
This important occasion reminds us of the values that unite our nations - freedom, democracy, sovereignty, and peace. Lithuania highly values the close partnership and cooperation between our countries within the European Union and NATO.
ln today's increasingly uncertain geopolitical environment, unity among Allies and partners remains essential. Russia's ongoing aggression against Ukraine continues to challenge the foundations of European security, and it is important that we remain united in supporting Ukraine, its sovereignty, and its people," reads Prime Minister's message of greetings.
