Participation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the 7th Caspian Business Forum

On September 25, 2026, on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin participated in the Informal Meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO).

During the meeting, the foreign ministers exchanged views on current vital issues on the ECO agenda.

In his remarks, the Foreign Minister of Tajikistan outlined his country's position on key international and regional issues and highlighted necessity of further strengthening cooperation among ECO member states in areas such as the economy and trade, investment, transport and transit, and energy.

He also stressed on environmental protection and international cooperation regarding the preservation of glaciers and water resources, with a specific focus on Tajikistan's initiatives in this area.
