Tokyo, October 14, 2026 - Grupo Oesía, a Spanish multinational technology company specializing in dual-use engineering, is strengthening its presence in Japan with the opening of an office in Tokyo. After a decade of operations in the country, the company is taking a new step in its internationalization strategy and reinforcing its long-term commitment to the Asia-Pacific region, from one of the region's most important technology and industrial markets.
The company has a long-standing presence in the country, where it supplies secure tactical communications systems that are part of the Japanese Self-Defense Forces' capabilities for the secure exchange of information between land, sea, and air platforms.
Based on this experience, it aims to expand its industrial partnerships in areas such as secure communications, guidance, navigation, and control systems for unmanned platforms, and advanced defense electronics.
The decision is fully aligned with the objectives of Grupo Oesía's 2026-2030 Strategic Plan, Powered by Technology. Delivering Value , structured around four key areas: specialization, technology, partnerships, and internationalization.
The plan calls for strengthening the company's international presence by developing stable industry relationships and gaining direct access to priority markets.
"Japan is a strategic market for Grupo Oesía, and our goal is to establish a stable, long-term presence that is closely linked to its technological and industrial ecosystem. We want to continue moving forward alongside Japanese companies, fostering partnerships and creating synergies that will allow us to jointly develop new technological capabilities and growth opportunities," said Luis Furnells, CEO of Grupo Oesía.
From its new headquarters in Tokyo, Grupo Oesía will also strengthen its capacity to serve other strategic markets in the Asia-Pacific region, contributing to the company's international expansion and the consolidation of its position as a specialized technology partner.
