Marin County - Caltrans will continue its Capital Preventive Maintenance project in November on Westbound and Eastbound State Route 37 (SR-37) in between Atherton Avenue and the Petaluma River Bridge in Novato for paving work.
There is scheduled paving work on Westbound and Eastbound SR-37 from Monday, Nov. 3 to Friday, Nov. 7 from 8 p.m. until about 5 a.m. the next mornings.
There will be intermittent ramp closures (depending on where the paving occurs) for the US-101 interchange near SR-37, the Hanna Ranch Road exit and the Atherton Avenue exit along SR-37.
There will be tentative daytime closures for guard rail installation on Westbound and Eastbound SR-37 from Monday, Nov. 3 through Friday, Nov. 7. Eastbound work would occur between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m., and Westbound work would occur between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day.
All construction Is weather dependent.
This capital maintenance pavement rehabilitation project involves paving and median barrier work in Novato. The project will grind and re-pave the roadway between the Ignacio overhead to the Petaluma River Bridge - a stretch of about three miles.
