Milling and Resurfacing on Route 45 in Warren and Cornwall

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 45 in Warren and Cornwall. This project is scheduled to occur on Friday, May 1 and be completed on Friday, May 28, 2026. The project 0174-0473CN "A" consists of milling and resurfacing a 4.62-mile segment of Route 45 in Warren and Cornwall from 0.26 miles north of Route 341 to US 7. This project is scheduled to be milled by Black and Boucher and the resurfacing segment of this project by O&G Industries.

No work to be performed on the Memorial Day Holiday.

LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures of Route 45 from 0.26 miles north of Route 341 to US Route 7. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The work schedule for this project is from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday-Friday.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
