Deluzio Statement on Detention of Springdale Resident Randy Cordova Flores

CARNEGIE, PA - Congressman Chris Deluzio (PA-17) released the following statement on the arrest and detention of Springdale resident Randy Cordova Flores.

"My office is in touch with the family and lawyer of Springdale resident Randy Cordova Flores, a Peruvian-born father who was arrested and detained by ICE following a traffic stop this week. According to the family and to all reporting I am aware of, Mr. Cordova Flores has a pending asylum determination, a valid work authorization, and no criminal record. Once again, we need answers to basic questions about the reason for his arrest and why our government is seeking to remove him from the country. I'll keep fighting for answers and accountability."
