New Brunswick Welcomes Back Rutgers University Students
NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ (August 31, 2025) - The City's population is experiencing its annual expansion as thousands of Rutgers University students return to take up residence on the banks of the Raritan.
Cases of laptops, textbooks, mini-fridges, bicycles, speakers, and the all-important desk lamp were among the many items being brought into dorms as students participate in an annual rite of passage-Move-in Day.
