"Like the overwhelming majority of Americans, I believe we need a sensible immigration policy that includes a secure border, an orderly immigration system for those who wish to move here legally and contribute to our society and targeted enforcement against people who pose a threat to our communities. And, like most Americans, I have been horrified by the reckless overreach of ICE and CBP that has resulted in American citizens killed, detained and fearful of the chaos in their communities.
