Wayne Bank Donates to Girls on the Run Through EITC

Jim Donnelly, President and Chief Executive Officer of Wayne Bank, is pleased to announce that Wayne Bank has supported Girls on the Run (GOTR) Mid State PA EIO through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC).

Lindsay Stemple, Corporate and Community Relations Manager, and Sarah Fahrney, Regional Program Director of Girls on the Run, accepted a check in the amount of $1,000 from Thomas Bream, Senior Vice President Market and Executive, Jim Donnelly, President and Chief Executive Officer, and Doug Byers, Executive Vice President and Market President at Wayne Bank.

"At Wayne Bank, we believe investing in young people is an investment in the future of our communities. Girls on the Run empowers girls with the confidence, resilience, and life skills they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom. We're proud to support an organization that is helping shape the next generation of strong, healthy, and confident leaders," said Mr. Donnelly.

Girls on the Run provides a safe and supportive environment where girls develop confidence, build meaningful relationships, and learn valuable life skills that extend far beyond the program. Through a fun, experience-based curriculum that creatively integrates running, participants are encouraged to be joyful, healthy, and confident while discovering their individual strengths. Support from organizations like Wayne Bank helps Girls on the Run continue inspiring and empowering the next generation of confident young leaders.

This gift was made possible because of the Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program offered by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, acting through the Department of Community and Economic Development.
