Take the Talebound demo for a spooky spin on the Player Test Realm (PTR) and experience the Red Hollow introduction, three eerie tales across Normal, Veteran, and Heroic difficulties, and all three classes: Slayer, Inquisitor, and Witch. No subscription is required to take part.
When: October 30-November 1
Prepare to be drawn into the macabre world of Talebound, where you become part of the dark chronicles of a mysterious Storyteller, chillingly brought to life.
You're a lone traveler, journeying down a darkened road where you'll encounter a mysterious storyteller who pulls you into a world of his own creation. This is the very beginning of your adventure in Quillgrave.
Venture solo or with friends through eerie tales, where danger is written on every page.
Three of Talebound's chilling tales will be available during the demo, each with three challenging difficulty levels: Normal, Veteran, and Heroic. Battle fearsome enemies and bosses, solve perplexing puzzles, and discover treasure and relics as you delve deeper into the Storyteller's twisted creations
Darkhaven
Darkhaven, home to Konrad von Sonnesheim, the Lord Marshal, and to Alexandre Dozsenc, the Blood Bishop, is cut off from the rest of the world.
It is the only place that survived a devastating plague that wiped out everyone beyond its borders.
Greenthistle Wood
According to the tale, two humble villages-Shady Hollow and Riverton-lie in Greenthistle Wood.
It is a place overrun and terrorized by two witches, a giant, and a host of vile, predatory fiends who have filled the wood with unspeakable cruelty and mayhem.
Greywake's Expedition
Greywake's Hill was once a thriving and prosperous island, but something sinister has happened.
Follow the tale of the many who have fallen to Zzyg'th, the Hadal Tyrant, and to Chathoa, the Herald from Beyond.
Across all classes, movement and defense are central, and each class can double jump, dodge, and guard, making positioning a key part of combat.
The Slayer's martial might and monster hunter knowledge give him the rare physical tools to combat the beasts of folklore. Wield a sword to cut down eldritch foes and a gun for when a blade doesn't suffice
The Inquisitor's zeal lights every corner and burns the face of evil, no matter the illusions it uses to hide.
The Witch uses lightning, poison, spiders, moonlight, thorns, and ravens to overwhelm enemies with a darker, spell-driven style.
As with all our PTR testing, things may change. Several Talebound talents are still in progress, and fine-tuning is ongoing.
